Aure is a fragrance house. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit myaure.co or order from us, what we do with it, and the choices you have. In short: we ask only for what we need to get your order to you, we keep it only as long as we need to, and we never sell it.
What we collect
When you place an order
To deliver your order we ask for your name, email address, phone number and delivery address (street, city, province, postcode and country), and any note you choose to leave for the delivery.
Payment is handled by our payment provider. Your card details are entered with them and are never seen or stored by us.
On your own device
There are no accounts on this site. Your cart and wishlist are kept in your browser's storage on the device you are using, so they are there when you come back, but they are never sent to us and they do not follow you to another device or browser. The details you type at checkout are kept for that browser tab only, so you do not lose them if you go back a step, and are cleared when you close it. The site also remembers small things, such as whether you have already entered it this visit, in the same way.
What we do not collect
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels or any similar tools, and we do not build a profile of you.
How we use it
- To process, pack and deliver your order.
- To contact you about your order: confirming it, delivery updates, and any return or exchange.
- To answer you when you write to us.
- To keep the records the law requires, such as for tax and accounting.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not send you marketing unless you have asked us to.
Who we share it with
Only with the people who help us get your order to you, and only what they need:
- Our delivery partner, who receives your name, phone number and delivery address.
- Our payment provider, who processes your payment securely.
- Cloudflare, who host this website and deliver it to your browser over a secure connection.
Our fonts and some code libraries are loaded from Google Fonts, jsDelivr and cdnjs. When your browser fetches them, those services receive your IP address and basic browser information, under their own privacy policies.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your order details for as long as we need them to fulfil the order and handle any return, and afterwards only as long as the law requires for our records. What is stored in your browser stays there until you remove it or clear your browser's data.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, except where the law requires us to keep it. You can remove your cart and wishlist at any time by emptying them, or by clearing your browser's data for this site.
Children
This site is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
